Inspired by the rolling Bundaleer Hills in the Mid-North of South Australia, this piece is my way of holding onto that golden light, layered landscape and familiar feeling of being somewhere that knows you well.
Built up with rich texture and warm buttery tones, this artwork slowly evolved from a photo I had taken into something far more nostalgic and feeling-led. The longer I worked on it, the more it became about home, memory and the comfort of places that stay with us.
